Can you tell us about your studio and the space?
Our studio is located at the design house Frederiksgade 1, in the heart of Copenhagen, which houses showrooms and design studios. When you enter the studio, the first thing you notice is the bright pink ceiling—which I love. We wanted it to be a little different and stand out. There are a lot of colors to lift the mood, but we’ve made sure they match and flow through the paneling and other furniture to create a relaxing balance.
Studio Visit: ALET Agency
Join us for a conversation with Anne-Sophie Rosenvinge, a landscape architect turned photographer and founder of ALET Agency. While ALET officially launched in 2020, Anne-Sophie began building her business back in 2015. Today, she works with a wide range of renowned design brands. Situated in the heart of Copenhagen, the studio is part of a collective at Frederiksgade 1, a design house that represents some of the finest talents within the Danish creative scene. Spanning five floors, the collective houses galleries, showrooms, creators, and makers—ensuring that the next great idea is just a neighborly hello away.

When furnishing the studio, we wanted to place a strong emphasis on it being aesthetically beautiful, but there has always been an interest in furniture that’s made with the body in mind. I feel like everything has come together perfectly with the addition of the two new chairs. They look stunning in the studio, but they also enhance my well-being, allowing me to focus more on my creative pursuits rather than on finding a comfortable posture for my back.
"To me, the chair is a symbol of resilience, creativity, and the pursuit of holistic well-being”
Your photos tell such captivating stories. What inspired your path into photography?
I have always loved sharing stories through images. But it was when Instagram first came along that I found a format to share them, and it became a passion of mine. I began sharing photos I took for fun, and suddenly they gained traction, leading brands and others to reach out to me to create content for them.
How would describe your style of photography?
I work a lot with natural light, shadow play, and details. What excites me most about framing moments is creating visual balance and harmony.
How have your journeys through Landscape Architecture and graphic design in London shaped your creative style and influenced the stories you tell through your work?
Yes, I actually started my studies in Landscape Architecture here in Copenhagen. I had my photography hobby on the side and used to take pictures of landscapes, buildings, and the process, sharing the stories on Instagram. I realized later that, even though I found the field of landscape architecture so interesting, it was too slow-paced for me. A typical project lasts many years, and my restless nature led me to pursue other projects where I could deliver results faster!
Thatsit™ is quite untraditional in its visual expression, so for those who’ve never been able to try it for themselves, they might go into it with a bit of skepticism. Can you tell us a bit about your experience sitting on Thatsit™?
The first thing I recognized is how different it is from a regular chair, especially with the pads to rest your knees. To me, the chair is a symbol of resilience, creativity, and the pursuit of holistic well-being. I love how it helps me stay moving throughout the day and prevents me from sitting for long periods with my legs crossed, which is a terrible habit! The endless possibilities of sitting positions help me alleviate the pain, and I feel much more energized at the end of the day.
